Putting in the average game of golf is considered about 1/3 of your total score.
So for a round of 90, you would be using your putting stroke approximately 30 times and tee to green shots would all be made using your woods and irons.

Now if you wanted to easily knock off 3-5 strokes from your score of 90 and be shooting an 85 or 87 score, than it’s easy to see that you need to direct your attention to improving your putting accuracy.
